Deadline to complete and claim CPE and BCGP live credit: December 13, 2023
Pharmacists can earn up to 19.5 BCGP Recertification Credits (up to 13.5 hours live) and up to 38 CPE Credits (up to 13 hours live). FL pharmacists can earn up to 16 consultant recertification or general hours.
Learning Objectives
The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
The goal of this meeting, consistent with the ASCP Educational Affairs mission, is to identify needs and provide competency-based live and home study learning activities that assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in maintaining and enhancing their professional competencies in the following key areas, especially as they relate to senior care and geriatric pharmacy practice:
- Clinical problem solving and decision-making,
- disease state and therapeutic knowledge/application,
- leadership and entrepreneurship advancing practice, and
- the ever-changing pharmacy legal, technical, and regulatory environment.
The continuing pharmacy education provided by ASCP shall be applicable to the practice of pharmacy through its focus on evidence-based medicine for the delivery of patient-centered care and public health as part of the interprofessional healthcare team, and focus on continually enhancing the quality of care for all older persons through the appropriate use of medication and the promotion of healthy aging.
Obtaining Credit
CPE/BCGP Credit:
You must attend the activity in its entirety and complete the *post-test (session with an asterisk at the end of the title) and/or an evaluation online at ascp.com/learn by December 13, 2023, by 11:59 PM ET. You have three attempts to achieve a 75% or higher on the 8-question post-test. ASCP reports CPE attainment to ACPE and NABP via the CPE Monitor system. The course should be posted within 24-48 hours of evaluation completion. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct date of birth (MMDD format) and NABP e-Profile ID on their member or guest profile on the ASCP Website prior to completing the course.
BCGP Pharmacists:
To ensure the successful transfer of BCGP credit, please log into your ASCP profile to confirm your correct BPS ID and BCGP Credential Number prior to course completion. Please check your BPS portal within 24-48 hours of completion to ensure BCGP credit upload.
FL Pharmacists:
Eight (8) tracks of LIVE CPE sessions for this meeting have been approved by the Florida Department of Health for Florida consultant pharmacist recertification hours. CE Broker Tracking #: 20-1096954 . Click here for additional information.
To earn live consultant pharmacist recertification hours, you must:
- Choose and attend only ONE track per day.
- Must attend the entire track of live sessions. Credits cannot be granted for partial track completion.
- Complete the online evaluation for each of the sessions in your attended track.
- Complete the post-tests with a passing grade of 70% or higher for sessions with an asterisk (*) at the end of the session titles to receive credit.

- Deadline to complete ALL requirements is December 13, 2023, by 11:59 PM ET.

- Locate the title “2023 ASCP Annual Meeting & Exhibition – LIVE (Kissimmee, FL) listed under your Active Tab.
1: Find the conference day(s) that you attended below and click “view details” for important CE information.
2: To complete course, find the respective sessions listed within each day.
- For each live activity that you attended, select “launch”. Click through the menu items in sequence to move through the course process to claim credit. You must attend the activity and complete the course in its entirety to claim credit.
- **Some courses may contain a post-test and must be completed before moving on to the evaluation.
- All courses contain an evaluation that must be completed for full CPE credit by December 13, 2023, at 11:59pm ET. No exceptions or extensions permitted.
- NOTE: CREDIT CANNOT BE EARNED FOR CONCURRENT LIVE SESSIONS.
3: Once you have completed the course evaluation, please confirm proper submission by checking your CPE Monitor/and or BPS portal (BCGP pharmacists) within 24-48 hours of course completion.
