Deadline to complete and claim CPE and BCGP live credit: December 10, 2025
Pharmacists can earn up to 22.5 BCGP Recertification Credits (up to 16.5 hours live) and up to 34 CPE Credits (up to 13 hours live).
The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. ASCP is approved by BPS as a provider for the recertification of BCGP.

Learning Objectives

The goal of this meeting, consistent with the mission of ASCP’s Education and Professional Development Program is to provide education and training for pharmacists designed to strengthen the practice of medication management for older adults that contributes to a high quality of life. The continuing pharmacy education provided by ASCP shall be applicable to the practice of pharmacy through its focus on evidence-based medicine for the delivery of patient-centered care and public health as part of the interprofessional healthcare team and focus on continually enhancing the quality of care for all older persons through the appropriate use of medication and the promotion of healthy aging.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Pharmacists who provide expert advice on the use of medications to individuals and older adults and are committed to providing person-centered care, considering the complex interrelationships between disease states, nutrition, medications, and other variables.

Obtaining Credit

CPE/BCGP Credit:

You must attend the activity in its entirety and complete the exam and/or an evaluation online at ascp.com/learn by December 10, 2025, by 11:59 PM ET. You have three attempts to achieve a 75% or higher on the 8-question exam. ASCP reports CPE attainment to ACPE and NABP via the CPE Monitor system. The course should be posted within 24-48 hours of evaluation completion. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct date of birth (MMDD format) and NABP e-Profile ID on their member or guest profile on the ASCP Website prior to completing the course.


BCGP Pharmacists:

To ensure the successful transfer of BCGP credit, please log into your ASCP profile to confirm your correct BPS ID and BCGP Credential Number prior to course completion. Please check your BPS portal within 24-48 hours of completion to ensure BCGP credit upload.


FL Pharmacists:

We are in the process of obtaining approval for Florida credit.
