2026 Next Gen-Rx Award Finalist

Mirabel Eghombi, PharmD, is a consultant pharmacist dedicated to advancing medication optimization and improving health outcomes for older adults and individuals with complex chronic, behavioral health, and substance use disorders.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, she completed a community pharmacy residency and has practiced across community pharmacy, long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, primary care, and behavioral health settings. Dr. Eghombi specializes in comprehensive medication management, pharmacogenomics, chronic disease optimization, and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient safety, reduce medication- related risks, and enhance quality of care.

Through innovative consultant pharmacy services, she partners with healthcare providers to implement evidence-based, patient-centered solutions that improve clinical outcomes while supporting regulatory compliance and value-based care.

Collin Fair, PharmD, BCPS, BCGP, practices within long-term care, hospice, and ambulatory settings at the Department of Veterans Affairs. He recently transitioned into a Clinical Pharmacy Manager role to support the clinical pharmacists covering the geriatrics, extended care, and pain management sections.

He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Eshelman School of Pharmacy. He then completed his PGY-1 and PGY-2 Geriatric Pharmacy Residencies at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System in Cleveland, OH.

Dr. Fair has led ASCP's Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Task Force for the last four years and has been heavily involved in a number of its initiatives. He has supported the development of several ASCP webinars and national presentations, serving as a speaker and subject matter expert during Senior Care Pharmacist Week and Annual Meetings. Dr. Fair also assists with annual planning for ASCP’s Women’s Leadership Event since 2023.

In addition to his involvement with JEDI, Dr. Fair is actively involved with ASCP's LAUNCH and ENGAGE committees. He has also served as a student mentor since 2023. Dr. Fair is passionate about cultivating this organization’s next generation of senior care pharmacists.

Keilana Fisher, PharmD, BCGP, is a Pharmacist Consultant with Consonus Pharmacy. Her passion for pharmacy began at age sixteen when she worked as a pharmacy assistant in a local independent pharmacy. This experience showed her the meaningful impact pharmacists have on patient care.

Keilana earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Washington. She further specialized by completing PGY1 and PGY2 Geriatric Pharmacy Residencies with the Veterans Administration, Sierra Nevada Health Care System.

In her consulting role, Keilana enjoys helping residents thrive by optimizing medication regimens. An active presenter at regional conferences, she is especially passionate about medication deprescribing. She also serves as a Region H Board Member for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Outside of her clinical work, Keilana enjoys paddling, crafting, and karaoke.

Mariah Iverson is a class of 2027 PharmD candidate at Roseman University. She believes the future of pharmacy is built through service, compassion, and meaningful connection, which was reflected through her service to ASCP on the Roseman University campus.

Mariah recently served as President of the ASCP chapter at Roseman University and as a Region G Student Ambassador. Passionate about improving the life of older adults, Mariah founded the chapter’s Adopt-A-Senior program, which connects students to older adults in the community to form meaningful relationships through events like a holiday cookie-decorating event, Valentine’s Day dance, and Easter teatime. Mariah coordinated transportation, volunteers, and established community partnerships that will help the program continue for years to come. As an ambassador, Mariah interviewed schools and assisted in the selection of the at-large chapter.

Beyond ASCP, Mariah has held several leadership positions while also serving as an intern pharmacist in both hospital and community pharmacy settings. She is passionate about helping others, advocating for the profession, and promoting patient-centered care.

Mariah is honored to be recognized as a finalist for the ASCP Next Gen-Rx Award and looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact on the profession and the communities she serves.

2026 Lynn Williams Connor Spotlight Award Finalist

Alisa Billington Morrison, PD is a distinguished senior care pharmacist with over three decades of expertise in optimizing medication therapies for older adults. She specializes in medication regimen reviews and admission reviews across long-term care and assisted living settings for Diamond Pharmacy and Pharm Recs. Her work at a rehab hospital has focused her skill set relating to transitions of care. She has held leadership roles as Director of Clinical Services for multiple long-term care pharmacies.

A passionate advocate for senior care pharmacy, Alisa is an Age-Friendly Pharmacist and earned the Certified Geriatric Pharmacist credential. A member of ASCP since 1992, she has served on the Nominating Committee and Consultant Focus Group. She has dedicated over 30 years to the ASCP Maryland Chapter as a Board Member, President, and Treasurer. Alisa has been involved in planning the Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting since its inception. She has made many presentations at national and regional meetings.

Alisa graduated with Honors from the University of Maryland where she also trained the next generation of pharmacists as a student and resident preceptor. Her clinical focus remains centered on deprescribing, streamlining medication administration, and improving safety during transitions of care.

2026 Lynn Williams Connor Spotlight Award Finalist

Dave Case is a seasoned pharmaceutical industry executive with decades of experience in sales, managed care, government affairs, and long-term care. Throughout his career, he held leadership positions with six pharmaceutical manufacturers, developing expertise across community and teaching hospital sales, managed care, Medicaid, and federal healthcare programs.

In 2001, Dave joined Fujisawa Healthcare as a managed care account manager. Following the merger that created Astellas Pharma, he helped establish the company's State Government Legislative Affairs team, representing 17 states and serving as a registered lobbyist in six. He later led Astellas' nationwide Medicaid strategy before managing key federal accounts. From 2014 until his retirement, Dave served as Senior National Corporate Account Director for long- term care, leading initiatives with pharmacy providers, nursing home chains, GPOs, and ASCP stakeholders.

Since retiring, Dave has dedicated his time and expertise to ASCP. An active volunteer, he regularly attends California state calls, serves on multiple committees including LAUNCH and Engage, and mentors student pharmacists interested in consultant and senior care pharmacy. Through these leadership and mentoring roles, he continues to strengthen the profession by supporting member engagement, developing future leaders, and advancing ASCP's mission to improve the quality of care for older adults.

Outstanding Faculty Award

Christine M. Ruby, PharmD, BCPS, BCGP, FASCP, is a clinical pharmacy specialist in geriatrics at the UPMC Shadyside Senior Care Institute and a long-standing geriatric educator. An ASCP member for over 25 years and a Fellow since 2002, she currently serves on the ASCP–PA Board and has contributed to PERC, MSTOC, and EAC committees. Dr. Ruby is a proud University of Pittsburgh alumna and has been a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacy and Therapeutics since 2005. At Pitt School of Pharmacy, Dr. Ruby advises the ASCP student chapter (since 2017), co-leads the Geriatric and Palliative Care Area of Concentration Certificate— graduating 55 learners to date—and precepts multiple student and resident trainees in the Senior Care Institute.

She previously served as PGY2 residency program director for eight geriatric pharmacy residents at UPMC and teaches geriatric-focused curricula across the Schools of Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, Dental Medicine, and Physician Assistant Studies. Her scholarly contributions include numerous posters at ASCP annual meetings and publications in The Senior Care Pharmacist.

Outstanding Postgraduate Educator Award

Dr. Emily Kryger is owner of PharmRecs LLC, a consulting company for post-acute care medication management partnering with pharmacies, nursing facilities, provider practices, and health care organizations. Dr. Kryger also works as a clinical pharmacist in the medical education department of UPMC St. Margaret where she has been privileged to assist in the training of postgraduate pharmacy residents since 2017. Dr. Kryger designed and teaches the consultant pharmacist portion of the UPMC St. Margaret PGY2 geriatric pharmacy residency program. Dr. Kryger is grateful for the opportunity to share her passion for being a consultant pharmacist with pharmacy residents.

Dr. Kryger is a fellow of ASCP and has been involved with many ASCP efforts over the years, including leader of the skilled nursing consultant pharmacists practice channel, ASCP- Pennsylvania chapter president and ongoing board member, co-chair of the medication safety & transitions of care workgroup, and member of the government affairs committee and antimicrobial stewardship & infection prevention workgroup. She was a recipient of the 2018 ASCP President’s Standing Ovation Award and 2024 Spotlight Award.

Dr. Kryger is honored to be recognized as the 2026 Outstanding Postgraduate Educator and humbled to be amongst this year’s Educator of the Year Award finalists.

Outstanding Student Preceptor Award

Graduating from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy in 2007, Kelly Kroustos, PharmD, CDP successfully completed an Ambulatory Care residency at The Ohio State College of Pharmacy, focused on hospice and palliative care through the Palliative Care Consulting Group in 2008. She accepted an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice position at Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy and was promoted to Full Professor in 2020 and currently coordinates the Central Nervous System Therapeutics Module. Kelly provides therapeutic content relating to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease, Pain Management, Geriatrics Therapeutics, Hospice and Palliative Care.

Kelly is a proud co-advisor for the ONU ASCP student chapter, member of ASCP and co-chair for the Student and New Practitioner LAUNCH workgroup.

Kelly serves as the Consultant Pharmacist for Vancrest of Ada Skilled Nursing Facility and Assisted Living and provides comprehensive medication reviews, senior education and collaboration with healthcare providers. Within her practice setting, Kelly’s passion for student engagement with seniors comes alive as she empowers students to engage in conversation, activities and the importance of determining “what matters” most. Additionally, Kelly provides mentoring for students to serve as “Student Consultants” where they complete medication reviews, provide patient education and monitor safety and efficacy outcomes.
