ASCP’s Election Process – Meet the Candidates!

New at ASCP’s 2024 Annual Meeting… meet and talk with candidates running for Board of Directors and President-Elect prior to casting your vote!

This year ASCP has made a change to the election process. Instead of holding the 2024-2025 elections in April 2024, we have moved elections to concur with ASCP’s Annual Meeting. This will provide you with the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and speak with them about issues that are important to you.

What you need to know…

Open Director Positions:

Region B (DE, MD, NC, PA, VA, WV and DC)
Region D (AL, FL, GA, MS, SC, TN)
Region G (AZ, CA, CO, NV, UT and Australia)
President-Elect

Prior to Voting:

Have a current membership in one of these membership categories: Active, Geriatric Health Care Professional, Technician, Active Spouse, Retired, Life and Honorary Member
Please confirm your email is up to date in ASCP’s database
Please have your ASCP member number readily available

Voting Process:

All voting is handled through a secure third-party voting system called Simply Voting. You will receive an email from Simply Voting with directions on how to vote. (For those that don’t vote right away, reminder emails will be sent.)
Voting will open October 25 and run through November 9, 12 pm MT.
If you can’t make it to Annual Meeting, you’ll be able to vote any time during October 25-November 9.
For those attending Annual Meeting, you can vote prior to attending the meeting, or once you’ve met the candidates. If you need assistance voting, we’ll be able to assist at the Annual Meeting.

Election results will be shared live at the Annual Meeting on Saturday, November 9 and posted online at ASCP.com/elections.
